About the Collection
I call it my "soap collection," but in truth, it is more like an eclectic, with various sorts of bathroom accessories. That would include not just soaps but also shampoos, conditioners, lotions, bath wash, shower caps, etc... The only reason I still stick with this obnoxious name is that the collection started off with a lot of soaps (from motels, actually). Then after that, everything else started to settle in. I like a lot of the soaps and shampoo I take from motels because they are cute and small and the wrapper/cover is always so pretty, either it's simplistic or it's elaborate.
Then, I started to keep the bath wash and stuff that my family and I use at home. It always makes me feel regretful whenever I run out of something, so I want to make sure I keep at least one of the type of soap that I've used. As for the shampoos and conditioners I use at home, I mainly keep the small ones that are meant for travel (but I keep both anyways, big and small =P).
Compared to many other people who collect other things, I'm not as dedicated. But, I still love my soap collection just the same. Whenever I have the time, I would take everything out and carefully examine each individually. I also like to separate the collection, like I have a bag of soaps, a bag of motel conditioning shampoos, a bag for the motel stuffs I brought from Taiwan, and another bag for anything else. Everything is stuffed inside my desk drawer (and it fits =O).
I created this fabulous site because I wanted to share my collection with the whole world. I don't think there may be many people who collect motel soaps and shampoos, but even so, it doesn't matter to me. I want to make my collection famous *evil laugh* lol, and it's also a good way to kill time when I feel bored.
